Referral Disclaimer

Pickpa is a referral platform that connects clients with verified service providers for home and handyman services. We do not employ the service providers directly. The decision to hire a service provider lies solely with the client.

Pickpa is not your employer. If a client hires or continues to engage your services directly, you must inform Pickpa immediately.

Please read and accept the following 4 disclaimers before getting started.

1. Authorization to Release Information

As a service provider, you authorize Pickpa and its representatives to verify your identity, qualifications, past work history, and conduct background checks as needed. This may include:

• Identity and Criminal

  Record Verification Pickpa reserves the right to verify your Aadhaar, PAN, driving license, or any other valid government-issued ID. Criminal record checks may be conducted for safety and trustworthiness.

• Education and Work History

  You agree to share any educational qualifications and work experience relevant to your service category.

• Reference and Skill Check

  Supervisors or clients you have worked with previously may be contacted to verify your work quality, punctuality, and professionalism.

• Drug/Alcohol Screening (if required)

  You may be asked to undergo a drug/alcohol screening for specific categories of service (e.g., caregiving).

• Ongoing Monitoring

  Pickpa may periodically re-verify your details to ensure quality and safety.

• Release of Liability

  You release Pickpa and its affiliates from any legal claims arising from the use of your information for verification purposes.

2. Citizenship & Legal Work Disclaimer

All service providers must be Indian citizens or have legal authorization to work in India. You agree to provide valid documentation upon request.

3. Client Privacy Disclaimer

Many of our clients prefer discretion. You agree to maintain complete confidentiality and privacy regarding any personal, financial, or household details you may come across during service.

Sharing client information with others is strictly prohibited. Breach of confidentiality will lead to removal from the platform and potential legal action.

4. Introduction and Referral Service Disclaimer

Pickpa acts only as a bridge between clients and service providers. By registering with Pickpa:

• You understand that Pickpa is not responsible for your performance, punctuality, payments, or disputes arising after referral.
• Clients are solely responsible for deciding to hire a service provider.
• Any direct agreement, payment, or dispute is between the client and the service provider.

Pickpa will assist in resolving issues to the best of its ability, but it is not liable for losses or damages arising from the service relationship.
